One of our doctors performed a Exam under Anesthesia & Evacuation/ I&D of large vaginal hematoma of a patient that delivered that day BUT this was not our patient and we did not do the delivery nor saw her during her pregnancy.. Can we still use 57022?

Yes you may bill this code. No modifier should be required since you are not affiliated with the practice of record for the obstetric care. Remember that the EUA is bundled into 57022. Note that an ob/gyn who delivered the baby could also bill this code if it were a complication following the delivery (at a different episode of care than the delivery). in that case the delivering MD would have to add a modifier -78
