Good afternoon,
Our practice just started billed for a nurse mid wife . My question is when billing for deliveries do I bill under them or the main physician as the billing/supervising ? Any assistance would be much appreciated

Melanie,
Thank you . Would I be correct to say if the CNM is credentialed with BC/BS and performs the delivery I would bill global Vaginal delivery 59400 under her as the rendering billing and supervising provider ?

They should be credentialed with the payer and you would bill under their number for the services they provide. There is no such thing as "incident" to when doing a delivery - that concept applies only to E/M services.
