I have an ob pt, who we have seen her entire pregnancy. Except when she delivers, a doc from another practice delivers her. I know to do split billing. But...my doc did perineal laceration for the 1st degree tear. Normally this is included in the delivery. But can it now be billed and if so what cpt code would I use?

Yes, you can now bill for it by reporting 59300, Episiotomy or vaginal repair, by other than attending. But I am not sure how the one who delivered did not repair the laceration - was the patient taken back at a later time for this repair?
