Awhile back with asked what is the correct dx code to use for 90384 and 96372 and we were told to use V07.2 (Z29.13) is this still the correct code to use? we are having issues with insurance paying it at their prenatal benefit.

would it be ok to use O36.0191 dx code on injections?

they are not applying it to their prenatal benefit. pt ends up paying it under their deductible and tell pt it's not coded as prenatal. it's happen with several payers.

Z29.13 would be the correct code for this assuming the payers policy does not state that this injection will not be paid separately. When you say you are having issues, can you be more specific? What are is the denial reason and is this happening with just one payer or all of them?
