what is the correct dx code to use for RH imm glob injection for pt who is RH- we have been using Z29.13 but having push back from payers saying it has to be a OB code for them to process to correct benefit for pt.

Unless the patient has lab confirmed antibodies you cannot use the code for isoimmunization (O36.0) for these patients. In the majority of cases, the dose is being given as a prophylactic measure and as such the diagnosis that supports this is Z29.13. If this is why you are giving it, you need to push back to the insurer on correct coding.
