Hi everyone
I need help with this please. Does anyone get Cigna to pay for 52352 and 52332 together?
Do you get reimbursement from anyone when filed together?

Thanks

The January Health Policy Brief published by the AUA has an article that says the 52332 CCI edit is going to be deleted when billed with 52320-52355. This may help as another arguement to use in appealing these denials we get. It was suppose to be effective January, but didn't make the deadline and will be effective April 2007 instead. Kathy

You may be right. I use to get reimbursement from them and I promise you I have had this fight before but last year I had not luck so I am starting again.

The AUA has a great appeal letter available if it's any help stating
that it is an "indwelling" stent and per CPT guidelines it should be
paid seperately.
I don't have any in our appeal files for the codes so they must be
paying or we haven't billed any to Cigna...

Doris is it Cigna?

Yes I did but Cigna keeps denying, if everyone else is getting reimbursed, then I need to work a little harder on this.

We add a modifier 59 to the 52332 and get paid by most. We have one HMO that will not pay.

We use 52352 and 52332-59-51 and get reimbursed
