I'm using gsurg@codelist.net. As far as the poor peripheral access code - is this something that your looking at as far as port insertions. I use 459.89.

That would definetely be the correct choice according to the AMA. However,
keep in mind Medicare gives the physician the choice of admit or inpatient
consultation. And no, I have no idea why they say inpatient consultation rather
than outpatient consultation but that is what is in their manual.
