Hello,

When patient's are seen by the primary care physician for an annual checkup for chronic stable problems, is that visit billed with a problem CPT code or the preventive CPT code? The chief compliant is "annual" but chronic conditions are listed in the HPI with the status? Also for Medicare, if patients are seen for their annual and chronic stable problems are addressed, can you bill the Medicare Wellness Visit and a problem visit?

Is there a webinar or resource that deals with primary care coding especially how to bill for preventive versus problem and Medicare Wellness?
