Our physician is looking to bill out a 57109 for the attached Operative report. After reviewing the report we feel this code is too invasive based on the description in the report. Would 57106 be appropriate? and how would we bill for the sample of the nodule? Thanks in advance for your assistance

No, he did not do a radical vaginectomy so 57106 would be appropriate. The node was a simple biopsy and I would not bill for that separately.
