If the back-up physician is a member of the regular physician's office then you have 2 options: bill 59400-52 or bill antepartum care, placenta delivery, hospital visits, dishcharge and then PP care separately. If the back-up physician is not affiliated with the practice, she must bill the delivery of the placenta and any hospital care she performed separately.
