What diagnosis can I use for a patient coming in with increased pressure? The patient does not have Glaucoma and is not considered a Glaucoma Suspect.

Unless the patients IOP was elevated, I surely would not code for the ocular hypertension. 99% of the time patients cannot "feel" increased intraocular pressure...acute processes aside. However, the patient may sense peri-orbital pressure related to sinusitis or other condition.

Definitely check the chart documentation for an elevated IOP before labeling this as ocular hypertension.
